Who are you and what’s your role at Angels on Call?
My name is Monique Miles. I am the Intake Coordinator for skilled services. I call myself the puzzle solver. When I am given a client’s paperwork it comes to me in pieces and it is my job to put it all together to get the client serviced.
What do you enjoy most about your job, what makes you proud to be an Angel on Call?
I enjoy helping people. I can hear the joy over the phone when I have connected all the pieces to their care. I treat every client like family.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
Black History is a time when we can be reminded about what it means to be an African-American. I keep the achievements of the past and present in mind as motivation to put my best foot forward when I do my job.
